Desta Ethiopian Kitchen co-owners Ash Nega and Titi Demissie were born and raised in Ethiopia, but met later in Atlanta, and, as husband-and-wife, have helped create a stronger presence for Ethiopian cuisine in Atlanta and giving more of Georgia hooked on the comforts of injera and wat. Here, Spark’s Conor O’hAonghusa talks to Demissie and Nega about the joy of Ethiopian food and how Desta came to be a local institution.
